Claire Kremer – Principal

Claire's work has spanned both the educational and business side of the careers divide. She started VOCARE in 1982 giving guidance to individuals and schools and for many years worked with Morrisby Organisation as a Senior Consultant.

Claire regularly delivers lectures and training to audiences ranging from employers and parents to teachers and psychologists. She has written articles for the National Press, the Times Educational Supplement and a range of professional journals.

Claire is a member of both the British Psychological Society and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Janet Kilsby – Consultant

Janet has been head of careers at a leading girls’ independent school for fourteen years. She has been responsible for giving all students from year 10 upwards a careers interview and helping them with their option choices for GCSE and AS/A2. She has also been actively involved with advising students on their University applications - both in the UK and the USA.

Louise Knight - Consultant

Louise is a qualified careers adviser with over 20 years experience. Her focus is to support young people when they make important choices at key transition points, from year 9 upwards. Louise was previously Head of Careers and Work Related Learning at a Hertfordshire School and now works as an independent careers consultant. Louise has a breadth of experience in advising on the full range of options including A levels, apprenticeships, further education and university.

Jennie Martin – Consultant

Jennie was Head of Careers at an independent co-educational school for ten years. During her tenure with the school she worked closely with students applying to university who were undertaking the International Baccalaureate and A Levels, as well as giving lessons in careers, education and guidance for Year 8 upwards. Jennie is now an independent careers advisor based mainly in the North West.

Linda Penney – Consultant

Linda has worked in both the maintained and independent sectors and was Head of Careers at a leading independent school for ten years. She advises on GCSE options and Sixth Form choices, including A levels and IB, and assists individual pupils to make the right choices post 18.  Linda has helped many young people with their university applications and also supported those who prefer to apply for advanced apprenticeships and school leaver professional training programmes.

Tina Scott – Consultant

Tina has worked in secondary schools in the private and maintained sectors. For the last 15 years she has been Senior Housemistress and Acting Deputy Headmistress at a highly regarded independent school. She has a wealth of experience advising individuals who are unsure of what to do next, helping students with their option choices and frequently offering support and guidance to people with unexpected exam results.
